Good To Know

Making a Reservation:

Guests can reserve Las Palapas by emailing us directly [email protected] or calling (303)986-8776
The reservation office is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm MST, Monday through Friday
There is a five night minimum for most days; holidays typically have a seven night minimum
During certain times of the year, we may allow guests to reserve as few as three guestrooms yet receive exclusive access to the entire estate

Advance Deposit and Cancellation Policy:

All holiday reservations/bookings/deposits are non-refundable. This includes Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's and Easter week
A deposit of 50% of the total amount due is required at the time of reservation; the remaining 50% is due 45 days before arrival. If booked within 45 days of the arrival date, the entire amount will be charged
Cancellation policy is as follows:
Cancellation of a reservation must be in writing by Guest and acknowledged by Las Palapas. Any cancellation received sixty (60) days or more prior to the arrival date will be subject to a full refund of prepaid rent and tax. Cancellations received within the fifty-nine (59) to thirty-one (31) day period prior to arrival, Guest will forfeit fifty percent (50%) of the total rental fee. One hundred percent (100%) of the total rental fee is forfeited if cancellation is made within thirty (30) days of occupancy. All holiday reservations/bookings/deposits are non-refundable.

Forms of Payment:

Casa de Las Palapas accepts all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Diners Club.
A personal check or money order may also be acceptable. Please contact is for instructions.
When on-site, guests can pay the chef for actual food and beverage costs with US dollars and/or pesos

Children at Casa de Las Palapas:

Children are welcome to stay at Casa de Las Palapas and they will enjoy the variety of fun activities
Please note that there are many levels and steps to the estate which can present a challenge for little children. Note, the pool is not attended and is immediately accessible on the Pool Terrace and is adjacent to Guestrooms Four and Five
We feel that parents know their children best and will know if the property is suitable for their temperament and age; please call with any questions

Accessibility:

Casa de Las Palapas is not accessible for individuals requiring wheelchair clearance.

Smoking

Smoking is discouraged at Casa de Las Palapas due to the thatched palapa roof construction. If one must smoke, it must be at a safe distance from the Palapas

Jalisco Hospitality Tax

An 18 percent tax on all rental fees was implemented by the State in 2021; this tax is not reflected in our nightly rates listed above and will be added.
